A spatial representation of residential structures and number of dwelling units (all of which may be estimated or unconfirmed - see use limitations). This is an updated version of the 2012 Housing data which was originally developed in 2004. Previous updates have taken place in 2006, 2010 and 2012 to account for newly developed, renovated, or demolished housing structures. Unlike previous versions of this data, which were based almost entirely on Grand List and municipal parcel data, updates after 2012 attempt to associate dwelling unit counts with E911 site (Esite) locations (note: if Esite locations were not yet established at the time of the update, the point was manually placed in the centroid of the parcel). It also associates a year-built date for housing structures (see use limitations). Additionally, outdated fields with few or no values for housing points added during recent updates and duplicate fields have been removed to create a more streamlined dataset. These include HSING_SOURC and YRBUILT_ST (both of which denoted pre-2012 sources for DUCOUNT and YEAR_BUILT data, respectively), as well as GL_Addr, GLSPAN, Occupancy, Ownership (both of which referred to whether structure is rented or owned), and UPDATE_STA (a field to flag records for review). |
